My story

I was born in Hungary. As a child and adolescent, I was convinced I would become an animal doctor like my grandfather, and I often accompanied him at work in the countryside. Although life took me in a different direction, my love of animals has stayed with me.

At 19, I moved to the UK to explore the world. I worked in factories and restaurants, then tried sales while studying finance at university.

At 25, during a Buddhist meditation retreat, something happened that changed the direction of my life. I experienced an extended state of unconditional love unlike anything I had encountered before. It didn't feel like simply having an interesting experience — I felt completely engulfed by it. It profoundly changed the way I saw myself, other people and life, and sparked my lifelong exploration of consciousness.

After the retreat, I decided not to pursue a career in finance. Instead, I began tutoring and discovered how much I enjoyed helping people learn and reach their potential. This eventually led me to become a classroom mathematics teacher.

I also worked as an exclusive tutor for a high-profile client. It was an intense and unforgettable experience — travelling, living in a very different world, dealing with considerable pressure and responsibility, and experiencing both extraordinary rewards and difficult moments.

Meanwhile, I was becoming increasingly absorbed in meditation, lucid dreaming and psychology. For years, I practised lucid dreaming almost every morning at 5am, developing a highly reliable ability to enter lucid dreams and OBEs and experiencing increasingly unusual and extraordinary states of consciousness.

I began teaching lucid dreaming and was also leading a lucid dreaming club. Because of my work in this area, I was invited by Chögyal Rinpoche to teach lucid dreaming at his Mahamudra retreat. I later received initiation in Tibetan Dream Yoga, and was encouraged to teach western students.

As I taught lucid dreaming, students increasingly brought more than techniques into the work — their dreams, emotional patterns, relationships and personal challenges. This led me deeper into dreamwork, psychology and coaching. I began studying therapeutic approaches and working with supervision and guidance from mental health professionals.

I later discovered Way of Council, a structured practice rooted in Native American traditions, where people take turns speaking and listening from the heart. It became an important balance to my introspective work. I eventually began facilitating Council circles myself.

My own therapy and personal work have also shaped how I work with others. I've learned to stay with difficult things, sometimes for a long time, to persevere when progress is slow, and to recognise the breakthroughs that can come from that persistence.

I feel like I've always been an explorer. These days, much of that exploration is around consciousness, and I enjoy sharing what I discover and supporting others in their own exploration and healing.
